Greetings from Shredding on the Go
A message from Renee Parker, Managing Director.
Hello and welcome to the first edition of the Shredding on the Go newsletter! We are excited to share with you what we have been doing the last several months during this unusual time in history. Our business continues to work hard serving our customers—whether that’s picking up bins from contract clients or individual boxes from people across northwest Houston. Some of our team members have returned to work but several are staying home because of health-related conditions. The owner James Parker continues to shred every day. He truly enjoys his job. We are still taking shredded paper to recycling weekly and look forward to resuming our full work schedule as soon as it is safe to do so. To our customers and friends, we are here for you and eager to provide safe and secure document destruction services when you need us.
Team Member Spotlight
Here’s what our fantastic team is up to.
We are proud to announce that SOTG team member Alex, who has been shredding with us since August 2019, has been accepted into the lifePATH Program at Lone Star College. Originally recommended to Alex by SOTG, lifePATH is a four-year program that provides post-secondary educational opportunities for students with disabilities that affect executive functioning. Alex says he is most looking forward to meeting the other students and making new friends. We love to watch our employees flourish and discover new depths of their potential. Congratulations Alex!

Showcasing Our Clients
Here’s a shout out to The Young Learners!

In this newsletter, we’re delighted to spotlight The Young Learners, a leading provider of early childhood education in The Woodlands, Spring and Northwest Houston. We’ve been shredding for this them since 2016 and have truly enjoyed supporting such an impactful organization where the employees are truly passionate about their work. The Young Learners has also referred SOTG to other businesses. We are always so excited when strong client partnerships spur new relationships and customers. A big thanks to The Young Learners’ Dan Alton for this referral!
