ad66f7_48953e0f6fd14ca8bb6dcdeafe67eaccIn celebration of Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22, Shredding on the Go (SOTG) and H-E-B teamed up to provide complimentary shredding at the H-E-B’s Kleinwood Center location (7310 Louetta Rd.). Thanks to a generous donation from H-E-B, Shredding on the Go went to work shredding documents for customers on the SOTG industrial-sized shredders. Four hours later, owner, James Parker, and his co-worker, Stephen Shehy, had shredded 6 1/2 boxes of paper. Several friends came by to show their support, including Sandy Barton, with the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce, of which SOTG is a member.

Of course, preservation of our environment is a core value for SOTG, which recycles all of the paper it shreds. In fact, SOTG has recycled more than eight tons of shredded paper since 2010. The Earth Day celebration at H-E-B was just a small part of a larger Earth Day observance that involved more than a billion people in 190 countries. SOTG is proud to do its part by providing secure and economical shredding services, thereby making sure the paper it shreds is recycled and used again.
